[Wichita-SCCA] GOOD NEWS about Strother Field!

Thanks, Greg, for checking into this for all of us!
Definitely good news for the next few years. Yes, we really do need to
find some new sites. But it's hard. The places that we COULD run on,
won't let us, and some of the places that will let us, are getting to
where we can't run on them.
If Hawker Beechcraft could budget just ONE of their lots to be paved,
that would be fantastic. Maybe after building their new tower in our
current lot, they may look to pave the rest of it. You never know.
As for Greyhound Park, now way to tell. The lease is up in September,
and I'm not sure if the land goes to Sedgwick County or Valley Center
(I'm guessing the county). And then, do they already have a lessee
lined up, and will they let us use it, and will it be available on
Sundays? It could use a new coat of asphalt as well.
We have a few places in town that we still want to look into, but since
I've been focused on making sure Yoder works, making sure the trailer
works, making sure my car works again, and making sure all of our
equipment works, I haven't really had time to contact any of the
possible sites. As the season wears on, it is possible that we could
spend more time on trying to convince these places that we are not a bad
thing.
If anyone has any ideas, we'll be glad to hear them, and would love to
follow up on them as best we can.
Thanks!
