[Wichita-SCCA] Anyone looking for a co-driver this year?

After my 924S got rear ended last year, I found a 944S2 in February. At the
March SCCA meeting it wouldn't start. I thought it was the starter, so I
had a spare rebuilt. After finally clearing my schedule (and cleaning my
garage) enough to put it in, it still wouldn't start.

Based on Greg's comment that it sounded like it didn't have compression, I
checked that first. No compression. So I pulled the valve cover. Not
pretty. And I had pretty much stopped driving it until I could check the
timing belt and chain, but "I gotta drive my sports car to the SCCA
meeting."

So my search for a new head has begun. I still have the full M030
suspension upgrade to install and the LSD transaxle should be coming in the
next couple weeks. I had hoped to put off the engine rebuild until next
winter. At the slow pace I work this will take a while.

So if anyone would like a tire warmer, I would at least like to do the
Topeka Divisional and Nationals. As soon as I get a hitch on my F250 PSD
(and a free weekend) I can at least tow the trailer to the local events.
