[Wichita-SCCA] Engine Rebuild

Ditto the Saturn oil problem, I'd seen it on Saturn forums: Some drivers,
including me, saw a quart every 1500-2000 miles. Others reported no added
oil between changes. Weird.

Then, after I ate an 8-valve in my daughter's school car / my solo car at
Strother (5 runs at nearly a minute each), well, I got kinda got down about
the whole thing. The good news is that I was able to limp back to Wichita -
mostly around 30mph - and my daughter spent several training sessions on the
knocking engine learning to drive a stick.

As her first year of actually driving to school approached, I was able to
find an identical replacement and pull off a shade tree swap. Two ironic
points of this story are that I found the replacement in a Winfield junkyard
- Lumberts - and the kicker is the replacement is one of those that DOESN'T
use oil. After 2 years plus in my possession it still needs none between
changes.

Greg, you're doing an interesting and commendable thing. Especially for
someone who is "retired".

Tom, thanks for the tip on Accusump. That sounds like something every tow
vehicle should have, also.
