[Wichita-SCCA] Attention Wichita Soloists!

This is directed mainly to the Wichita and Salina region Soloists. I  
wanted to make sure you knew that you were having an event in Salina  
on June 21/22.
I was looking at the entry list, and I noticed that there are very few  
of you attending your own event that you're hosting. I then took a  
look at the Wichita Region Website, and the event isn't
even on the Solo Schedule(actually there aren't even dates on your  
solo schedule for any events). So I thought I'd bring it to your  
attention. Your club needs your attendance at this event.
Below are most of the details of this event. Maybe the Wichita  
webmaster could copy and paste this info onto your website, so that it  
can be found again, long after you hit delete.

Wichita and Kansas Region members.....I know this event is a hour and  
a half away, and gas prices are a little staggering, but again, your  
club needs your support. So please consider attending
this event. You're promised to have a great time on a fun and fast  
course, on a great site. You'll be fed delicious food at the Saturday  
banquet, and all your friends will be there.

9:00 am 1st heat cars to be in grid
9:00 am Driver’s meeting
9:30 am 1st car off

Event Information
Location: East Crawford Recreational Area, Salina, KS
Entry Fee: $60.00 (Non-SCCA Members $70.00)
(Includes driver’s dinner at banquet)
Pre-registration required, no walk-ins accepted.

Entries received after Friday June 13th, 2008 will incur an additional  
$20 late fee. Entries after June 16th incur a $30 late fee. No entries  
accepted after June 18th.

Extra meal tickets $14 ea for adults and $7 ea for children.

Hotel Information
Registration, Tech, Hospitality on Friday Night June 20th and the  
Banquet on June 21st will be held at Holiday Inn, 1616 W Crawford,  
Salina Ks. Unfortunately, there are no sleeping rooms available at the  
Holiday Inn.

We have blocked rooms at Fairfield Inn, 1740 W Crawford, Salina Ks,  
1-785-823-6900. Only rooms available are King Executive Suites for  
$99.00 a night, but the suites will sleep 6. Cut off date for the rate  
on rooms is 6/6/08

Other rooms are blocked at Comfort Inn, 1820 W Crawford, Salina Ks  
1-785-826-1711 for $89.00 a night. Cut off date for the rate on rooms  
is 6/6/08

Additionally rooms are blocked at Quality Inn, 2110 W Central, Salina  
Ks, 1-785-825-2111. There is a variety of rooms at this location.  
Rates are $72.00 a night for for Kings and Double Queens, and $89.00 a  
night for Executive Queen or Executive King. Cut off date for the rate  
on rooms is 6/18/08.
