[Wichita-SCCA] New rules at the Starbird show?

Interesting.

First with the Bowling League and now with the Starbird Custom Car Show it appears that the city administration is bound and determined to drive away all their big events.  Some of the ticket price confusion has to rest with Starbird's not looking at the contract language until the last minute but the bulk of the problem seems to be the City's bull-headed enforcement of arbitrary rules in the face of common sense.  There seems to be a complete lack of concern or empathy towards event patrons and event organizers.  It looks like an event that brings only (ho-hum, yawn) $200,000 to the city's economy just isn't important enough to bother with.  

Hmmmm.  That seems to be the same circumstance that the Solo community has experienced at Heartland Park events.
