[Wichita-SCCA] There was a Problem

Hi all,
I just now read Thomas' sad story and very understandable complaint. This
was the first that I knew about it ... in fact I had been wondering why
Thomas and Brian hadn't come to the solo because I knew that they were
enthusiastically intending to run.
I don't know how or why their situation was overlooked but I want to express
my personal regret that this situation came about.
I agree with Thomas' thought that anyone driving long distance to an event
should have one or two contact phone numbers with them on the trip. This is
readily available information for the Wichita Region but it would be up to
each individual to plan ahead about having that information with them on
their trip. One of the quicker ways to get contact info would be to go to
the Wichita Region web page (www.wichitascca.org). Look for the button at
the top of the page "CONTACTS", then print out the page to stuff into the
glove box of the car or tow vehicle.
