[Wichita-SCCA] East Crawford Recreation Area

I went out to East Crawford this afternoon.

All the woodpile is gone. City workers were tending a couple of smouldering ash piles.

The surface has been swept. Other than being a little dusty, it looks great. Even the loose pavement along the edges is gone (until more breaks loose). 

Right now, Tuesday, barriers are still up but that's all. Likely because of the firepits still smoking. They'll be gone, or at least out of our way, by Saturday.

My wife said she looked at Weather Channel this morning and saw rain forecast the next couple of days and sunshine in the 70s for the weekend. Perfect. Hope the rain's a gullywasher to wash off the surface -- that's about all it really needs now. 

Weekend's events are ON! Solo event Saturday, another Sunday, at the south end while the Evolution Schools are going on at the north end.
