[Wichita-SCCA] New Cambria, KS Flooding

Dave and Jo do live in New Cambria -- in fact, Jo's the mayor!

So far it's only "what I've heard" -- they're evacuating the town because of
expected flooding, flood stage forecast some 5 feet higher than when the
town flooded a few years back. Sheriff has blocked Old 40 hiway to the town,
ticketing gawkers trying to go see. I've also hears the two I-70 exits on
the north side of Salina (Ohio St., 9th St.) are closed from flooding -- the
only way into Salina off I-135 (which intersects I-70 in a cloverleaf
northwest of Salina). The interstates are effectively Salina's dikes north
and west.

Lotta water around Salina. And here we'd set up a trailer-fixin' party at
the Richards' place (where the trailer is stored) next weekend. Stay tuned.
