The Solo Site Acquisition committee is a volunteer group made of
interested soloists from across the country. They have developed a very
nice CD and have enhanced the brochure that has been available free of
charge to regions for several years. 

 

You can get the brochure and CD form the Solo department simply be
sending a note to Nancy Dowing and ndowning at scca.conm or to Deena
Rowland at Drowland at scca.com.

 

I am also in the process of sending each RE a copy of the same brochure
and CD. Keith should have one in his hands by sometime next week.

I suggest we put together a committee and that is their only goal is to
work and find a new site / sites? Also coordinate with the National
Office, don't they have some special group just to help us out?

In case you haven't heard, the state Senate voted to let the people vote
for casinos and slot machines. What does that have to do with the SCCA?
Well, the parking lot we currently use at Greyhound Park for
autocrossing may very well be a hotel next year. Any progress on getting
McConnell back?
