Thank you for your insight and information Greg, I will keep that in mind
when I go to have it fixed.  Also thank you for your offer of the Phrog but
I'm not sure I could drive a real solo car.(What's the deal with shifting?)

I'm heading to Auto Craft on Monday to have the damaged surveyed, So I'll
let everyone know what I find out.  I realize it's been a long long time
since I worked auto body but I really don't think they will total it out,
it's just not that bad (Hopefully).

Eric, I'm hoping is doesn't come to that but I do have very detailed
documentation and receipts on everything I've done to the car.  Like I said,
I hope is doesn't come to that.

Dang.  You've got all the luck in the world, Bryan -- and all of it bad when
it comes to your play cars.  First your old Camaro gets stolen and trashed
and now your 'Vette gets wiped out by an SUV driver and right at the start
of the Solo season too.  Life just isn't fair.

It's amazing what a good bodyman can do to repair the broken plastic pieces
if all of the chunks are still there.  Just be sure that your body shop
knows that those chunks are Sheet Molded Compound (SMC) and not fiberglass.
The two materials are related but fiberglass repair material will not adhere
when used on SMC.

Years ago there was one time when you let me drive your Camaro ... until I
let quite a bit of smoke out of the tires.  <grin>    Please allow me to
return the favor by offering the Phrog for this coming Sunday's event at
Strother Field.  The new roll cage is installed and painted so all that is
left to do is to reinstall the interior.  That shouldn't take but a few
hours and I'm expecting the car to be good-to-go well before the event.
Come south and have some phun with the Phrog!
