So I was driving down ridge this afternoon in the Corvette, minding my own
business and enjoying the beautiful weather. As I approached Maybell
street, a Jeep Cherokee decided he didn't want to wait and turned right in
front of me. I'd like to say my autocross driving skills saved me but most
of you have seen me drive; so I hit him.
You know how a Vette is kind of low in the front and a Jeep is not, well it
works kind of like a ramp. I ended up with the driver's side, front of the
Vette under his front bumper. Nothing like looking at a jeep's front tire
off the ground, using my car as a jack stand.
Anyway, hoods got a number of grooves and holes, front fascia is punched
along with the turn signals and driving lights, both inner fenders are
cracked, the side panel (that covers the battery for you vette people) ended
up across the street. Heck, even the "Corvette" front cover got knocked
off.
ya'll be careful out there, they are everywhere.
