Last night at the IROC event I became volunteered to be the Event Chair for the March 25th solo at Strother Field. I appreciate the heads-up about the tire pressure on the trailer. 33 lbs would be enough to get the trailer to Raytheon and back at city speeds but would need to be brought to the correct pressure before the highway trip to Stother. The needed air pressure information would be available on the sidewall of the tires but I seem to remember that it was 60 lbs. I will check the tires and correct as needed before heading south if it didn't get done on the Raytheon trip.

I need to get myself up to speed for Strother so I would appreciate answers to my following questions from anyone who knows:

1: Has the sanction and insurance been arranged?
2: Will the paperwork be available to display in the trailer at the event?
    3: Porta-pottie arranged for?
    4: Safety Steward(s)?
    5: Solo Registrar?
6: Permission obtained from GE, B4-Flying, and the
           Strother Field Authority?

I can bring the trailer by pulling it behind my motorhome. It would be a good "wake-up" run for it anyway. By the way, my 1994 Jayco 220 motorhome, Class C, 460 V8, rear kitchen layout, with virtually new HD tires all around is still for sale. It would and has made for a heck of a good tow vehicle, a nice unit to stay in at Hallett, Topeka, etc. In spite of current gas prices it remains the most economical way to vacation for a couple or young family. The odometer reads just past 50,000 so it has lots of life left in it. All routine maintenance is current. I would mention that the "take it or leave it" price is $9,995 but then that would make this a crass commercial announcement and I would never stoop to such a low level. <grin>

I put the 2008 sticker on the tag and the new registration tucked in on top of the no smoking sign; like last years.

!! Note to whomever is towing the trailer to Raytheon !!
I checked the tires and all four are at 33psi. Don't know what they should be for the load and I do not have an air bubble. Those big @$$ tires would probably consume a few air bubbles anyway. There is a new Kwik shop just East of K15 on 63rd.
