Hi Rocky,

Thanks for your update of Bill.  He and a number of others missed the Wichita banquet because of nasty weather so I hadn't seen him since he had his knee replaced.  I was concerned that he might have had the other knee replaced without my being aware of it.

I called him up yesterday and found that all was well.  The physical therapy for the replaced knee brought the other knee into shape as well, thus eliminating or at least dramatically delaying the necessity to replace the second one,  He is doing very well indeed and seemed to have a major twinkle in his eye when the conversation touched upon his bugeye Sprite.  I suspect that he has interesting future plans for it to say the least.  

On the other hand, his Sprite RT (you'll have to ask him what the R/T stands for) is healthy and strong.  He said that he's driven something like 15,000 miles in the rusty old thing over the winter and that it didn't use any oil.  My sense of disbelief was rising at that point until he quickly added that it did still leak a little!

It looks like we may miss each other for yet another month if I don't get the Phrog together before this coming weekend.  He will be at the March 11rh event but must miss the March 23rd event.  I guess that I'd better quit messing around with this email and get back to work installing that roll cage!
