Many forums allow you to subscribe to the thread you want and get an email
when someone posts just to that thread, allowing you to keep track of just
the things you want.

Wow. That is one of the coolest and most clever forum things I've seen.

Mostly I dislike forums, because you have to take the time to go hunt things

up instead of just checking what comes in on an e-mail list. But this device

mitigates a lot of my heartburn. I still have to go look, but I can look in 
one place to see if there is anything, anywhere, I want to pursue further.
