[Wichita-SCCA] Strother party this coming Sunday

Hi all,

The afterglow party at my house after the last Strother event worked out so well that we're planning another party after this Sunday's solo, but with some changes to make it even better!

This party will be bring-your-own liquid refreshment.  Just grab your cooler and ice it down, then load in whatever you want to bring: food, drink, or whatever you like just as long as it's legal!  

We will have menus and an order sheet available at the trailer for those wishing to order pizza, deli sandwiches, or pasta from Gambino's in Winfield.  The group order will be cell-phoned in at the end of the solo event for delivery to my house where everyone will pay on separate tickets for what they ordered.  Sunday's are dry in Cowley County so all that Gambino's will have in liquid refreshments would be soft drinks.  If you prefer fast food then swing by any of the several sources in Winfield for carry-out and bring it to the party.

Maps to my house will be available or just follow someone who's been there.  Where I live is right on the way back to Wichita.  Please feel free to park anywhere on the lawn because I do it all the time myself.  We will set up the food and your coolers inside the house (air conditioned and no flies or chiggers) but you are welcome to then wander to the back yard, the garage, sit around the kitchen table, try out the family room easy chairs, or the living room sofas.  Me casa es su casa.

Also feel free to pull your car trailer up the dead end gravel road (Morningview Ave.) where I live.  The road is only 1/4 mile long and I'm the next-to-last house on the right but there is a turnaround area at the top of the hill that will easily handle the problem of space for turning your rig around.

So far the weather looks to be dry and warm so we should have a great event and then a fun party afterwards.  Hope to see you there!!!
