So, is anyone displaying their car at the Moonlight Car Show and Street Party this Saturday night? Or are we once again the "secret" Car Club of America?

The Phrog could be shown but I don't think that it would attract much interest by itself. Art Martinez might be up for it if asked. How about a road racer or two? I have an looped promotional SCCA video that is exciting to watch; all it would need is a power source of either AC or 12V DC to run a small TV with VCR. The club has some SCCA banners somewhere, maybe with the Bettingers? Do we have any handout literature?

Here's the details:

Weather should be dry & warm, almost ideal.

    Show cars:
Registration $25 on Friday at Automobilia, 200 N. First St. and Saturday at the gate.

Show cars enter at Emporia and Douglas at 4 p.m. Saturday afternoon.

Spectators: Free entry. Come & go as you like

Entertainment: Multiple bands at different locations all over Old Town from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m.; a Swap Meet behind Automobilia; a Model Car Show at Best Mechanical Work, 510 E. First St next to Automobilia; and then the Midnight Cruise on Douglas from Washington to Waco, midnight to 1:30 a.m., show cars only.

Or if there is no interest in showing, does anyone want to just meet up and enjoy the fun as a group?

Enjoy,
Greg Laws
