[Wichita-SCCA] Midget 1500 Parts (and potentially car) FS.

The midget has been sitting over 2 months now, and it's just taking up
space.  The prospect of finding and replacing all the necessary 1500cc
parts seems like a losing one, so the 1500 and transmission are coming
out.  I will be parting it out, and listing it all on eBay, but I'll
give list members first dibs.  I'll list the parts on ebay 2 weeks from
now, so if anyone needs anything, send me an email and I'll see if I
have it.

As an FYI 2 rods went through the block, so the bottom end is probably
toasted.  The car has an aftermarket header, aftermarket electronic
ignition, and the Webber carb conversion.  Transmission shifted fine,
and driveshaft is in good condition.  I also have a factory hardtop.
The rear plastic-glass is spider webbed.  If someone could find a
replacement or make one, the rest of top is in fairly good condition.

 

My intention is to strip the body down, repair as necessary, and put a
rotary in.  However, I am going to concentrate my efforts on the Civic,
and doing well in STS this year, which means the car, may sit for some
time.  So if someone would like to buy the whole car, or rolling
chassis, or has an interesting trade I would be open to that
possibility.   It's a 75 "special" edition (25th anniversary edition
with the dash plaque) sold and titled in 76, white in color with red
graphics.
