I went one time for the crazy cruiser night, they set their cars up so the
driver only has the steering wheel and the co driver does the brakes and
gas.

I haven't been to 81 for about 20 years.  I was crewing for a friend and it
was fun!  Although, the pits there are pretty dangerous.  You definitely
have to be on your toes, especially when someone is driving off the course
pissed off; oh, I forgot, that's normal in dirt track racing.  If you set in
the stands, higher is better to avoid being pelted by mud balls.
