Looking on the Evolution site I don't see a Phase III course? I am guessing
it is not the AX Extreme course.

Subject: [Wichita-SCCA] Fw: Salina Evolution School 2007

HI ALL,

THE DEADLINE FOR THE JANUARY $100 DEPOSIT FOR THE UPCOMING EVOLUTION SCHOOL
IS COMING UP FAST. I HAD JUST ABOUT ABOUT FORGOTTEN ABOUT IT SO MAYBE
OTHERS HAD TOO. I'VE COPIED THE OIRIGINAL MESSAGE FROM ROB PICKRELL BELOW.

This is the preliminary info. on the Schools Scheduled for April 20, 21 &
22, 2007.

The Salina Region will again be hosting an Evolution Autocross School the
third weekend of April.

The cost will be $230.00 per student. We would like to offer a Phase I and a
Phase II school, or a Phase III, or even A Challenge School. For definition
of schools go to http://autocross.com/evolution/. This will be based upon
the interest in the schools. We will accept reservations and deposits for
all schools; if we have to cancel the school you registered for, all money
will be refunded, or you can choose to attend the school we do offer. We
will schedule the schools according to demand and instructor availability,
and then depending on amount of space needed for the school. The new Phase
I: Has new course, same phase 1 info and instruction, using standard for
start and finish, but the new course will allow 2 cars at one time. More
runs, not the down time

Here is how it works: We will accept reservations from now until the schools
are full and then start a waiting list. It is possible we could put on six
schools in the same weekend using Friday, depending on instructor
availability and air fares. To register from now until January 1, 2007 you
must send a $50.00 deposit along with your registration. This may be
canceled and you will receive a full refund up to February 1, 2007. After
February 1 we must fill your spot before we issue a refund. By January 31,
2007 we require an additional $100.00, with the final $80.00 due by March
15, 2007. After February 1, 2007 no refunds will be issued until we fill
your spot. Makes checks out to (SRSCCA) for Salina Region SCCA, and mail
them to Rob Pickrell, PO Box 943, Salina, Ks. 67402-0943

The school runs from 8:00 AM till 4:30 PM. The car must be ready to run by
8:00 AM, do not arrive at 7:45 and expect to have time to change tires etc.
Just like an autocross you work to run. Be prepared to be on your feet all
day. While there are three groups, you run one and work one, then have one
off. You will be running and busy all day. Bring water and what ever you
need for all kinds of weather. There may be a concession stand open,
depending on the Ball Games scheduled. Lunch will be delivered to the site
and is included in your fee. After the school there is an Hour or so debrief
session. We hold an autocross Saturday and Sunday to give you an extra
opportunity to practice your lessons, or to fill Saturday if your school is
on Sunday, the cost of the autocross is $20.00 per day or $35.00 for both
days and is payable at the site. Note this is not part of your tuition fee.
The Region has not set entry fees for 2006 yet, so this may change.

Send ALL of the following info. to the above address: Name, Address,
telephone number, e-mail, year make and model, and class if known. Send this
all on a full sheet of paper or preferred is an SCCA generic entry form. DO
NOT SEND A CHECK WITH INFO. WRITTEN ON CHECK. You may send an e-mail with
info; this will hold your spot for ten days until we receive your deposit
check. After ten days if we do not have a check your spot will be opened to
first come first serve. Two people missed out last year due to not sending
the deposit in time; don't let this happen to you. SO DO NOT DELAY GETTING
IN YOUR RESERVATION AND DEPOSIT

Any questions contact me at above numbers or e-mail.
