Are you talking about Anthony? Anthony is the closest road course that I know of. I have not seen the course though.

I tried the Alley, but it is too tame, even little kids can keep you from passing them. The Alley is pretty good indoor fun for kids though.

The Grand Prix cars here in Dallas are a lot of fun, but still not as challenging as a real car. They don't require as much finesse and mistakes are not as significant as they are in a car. I noticed that by my 5th lap I was really comfortable with the car and although I was setting faster lap times the course seemed like it was coming at me slower each lap and it didn't require as much effort to control the car.

That comfort/confidence feeling with the GP car was cool. Do any of you really good autocrossers routinely get that feeling during our 3 or 4 laps at a Solo? I have felt like I know a Solo course well before, but putting it all together for a near perfect lap has eluded me. Seems like I can always list several mistakes each run.

  "I wanna go fast"

Ask Bob about where the local kart track is. Also there is an indoor kart track at the Alley.
