[Wichita-SCCA] Winter projects

Bring it on!  I got Peon's picking on me, those odd CRX thingy's picking on me, and now those even odder Corvair's that went down the assembly line so fast they accidently dropped the engine in the trunk.

      The Corvair guys aren't just sitting around trying to stay warm this winter. All three of us, me, Jim Dallas and Kirk Eck are working on improving our antiques. Jim and Kirk are working on new engines. Kirk's will be a warmed up stocker while Jim's going all out. He's having special high power heads modified for a 6 runner manifold to a 4 bbl carb. I'm going to install a new ignition, tires and some preventative maintenance.
   
  In an effort to shake the cabin fever, we're heading to Dayton, OH later this month. We'll be attending the annual Corvair Performance Workshop. This is where all the Corvair racer's get together to exchange advice and tell lies about how fast our cars are or will be. We have always had a great time.
   
  We handled the Mustangs pretty well last year. This year we'll be setting our sights on those Miatas...
