Top Gear is definitely a great show. Unfortunately, the stuff that airs on US cable is about 2 years old. www.finalgear.com has torrents for the new episodes. The shows available from this site are the 59 minute, commercial free, BBC version. Plus it keeps a library of all the old ones so you can pull an all-nighter and catch up.

I gotta say that the British show 'Top Gear' is, without question, my favorite television show of all time. Tonight, for instance, I first got to listen in on personal competition driving instruction from Jackie Stewart, then found out that Michael Gambon (the actor who plays the 2nd version of Dumbledore in the Harry Potter movies) is both a car guy AND he drives worse than I do! Then to top things off the show wandered into the area of French cars where they discussed Peugeot and Citroen models and included a very graphic demonstration of the ride quality of the new Citroen C6 versus a new BMW 6 series. No contest: the French car won the ride quality contest hands-down and didn't have to give up handling to get there either.

And then they played soccer with cars!

Enjoy,Greg Laws
