  You're right, Lu, I was there last year, and my car was so much better for it.  I wish my plenum was dirty enough to get it cleaned again, but this time I will bring my truck instead.

It made a big difference last year on a Miata I used to own. The engine had 
about 80k miles on it and ran well overall. But I didn't realize how coated 
with fuel/oil gunk the plenum and throttlebody were until after the BG 
session. The result was a big improvement in tip-in responsiveness. 
Sometimes you don't realize what you're putting up until it's fixed. I put 
several thousand more miles on the car before selling it and it continued to 
run well.

I'm going to take my 209k mile BMW this year and see if I can make the 
biggest smoke cloud in the bunch. We'll know I'm the winner when someone 
down the street from BG calls the fire dept.

  That right!  On September 15th BG Products will be sponsoring another 
plenum cleaning clinic for members of the Wichita Region SCCA.  Why would 
I want my Plenum cleaned?  It makes your car run smoother, cleaner and 
more fuel efficient.  By cleaning the engine's air intake manifold it 
allows the air/fuel mixture to flow to the cylinders more efficiently. 
Our neighbor recently had this service at a dealer and paid $125.00 for 
it.  But BG is offering it to us again for $10.00.  You might ask some of 
the people who went last year about how they liked the results.  I believe 
most of the Dave G's were there.  Dave Geis, Dave Gird and I believe Dave 
Guilliams. I believe Jason Rogers was thrilled with the results. You must 
pre-register for the clinic and it is limited to 36 cars.  Guy Roberts is 
working on a web site pre-registration form for us (thanks Guy!)  You can 
see me at the Solo this Sunday, Sunday, Sunday at Wichita Greyhound Park
