[Wichita-SCCA] August 12th, 2007 Solo Sponsored by O'Reilly Auto Parts

I just wanted to remind everyone that we have a solo this Sunday out at Wichita Greyhound Park. It's not just any solo either, it's the annual O'Reilly Days event. They have once again graciously decided to sponsor the event and will be handing out trophies for 1st place in each class. They will also have plenty of hand-outs and goodies on site. 

If you see Jason Whitted or any of the other O'Reilly guys be sure to thank them. Or better yet, buy some parts from O'Reilly. I have to say that I'm continually surprised at the variety of parts they stock. I've even found import parts in stock at the hub store on Seneca that no one else in town has had. Prices are always pretty reasonable too. The hub store is open to 11:00 p.m., I believe. No, they're not paying me to say this but I do appreciate their stores and support of our club.

Guy and I will be attempting to map the July 15th course in reverse so it should be a fun, smooth course. This may also be our last shot at running the WGP lot if Sedgwick county voters approve the casino measure this Tuesday.

First car out will be at 10:00 a.m. Registration willl close at 12:30 p.m.
