[Wichita-SCCA] Sad News

Othal has always been one of my favorite people at the SOLO's. He was one of
the coolest persons I have ever met.  I remember looking at his Z car and
asking him why it looked a little different this year, he replied "I have
that new Stillen front end put on" Most people I know would have no idea
what that was, and here he was at 80 customizing his tuner car. Oh I hope
when I grow up I can be just like Othal! I have missed him already not being
at the events, he always was ready to chat and had good things to say, we
have lost a great member for the club.

I noted  in today's obituaries that Othal Vrana passed away on Saturday.  He
has been a loyal supporter of Wichita Region for many years and was always
an upbeat and positive influence within the club.  I will miss his cheerful
smile.  I can think of nobody I ever met who enjoyed life more.  My
condolences to his family.
