Get a new computer and "ditch the dial up".  Computers can be had for pretty cheap these days.  If your monitor is still good, you can get a "box" for as little as $375 (think IBM eMachine).

Time to finally bite the bullet.  My POC Dell is still running Windows 98 and I need to upgrade to 2K or XP.  I figure it might be time to also upgrade the hard drive.  I'm tired of it being slow and all the error messages I get, plus I'm gonna finally ditch dial-up.  Anybody have a recommendation where/who to take this to for the tune up?  Or maybe just get a new one?  TIA,
