[Wichita-SCCA] Raytheon is sold

I imagine we would get shot down really fast after we said we would like to completely occupy a parking lot on the weekend.  Maybe if we start holding events on Tuesdays, we might have a chance there.Before ONEX bought Spirit, the parking lot I parked in was in nearly as bad of shape as the lot we use at Raytheon.  About a year ago, they completely repaved it.  Don't know if the sale and the repaving are connected or not, but there is hope for the Raytheon lot.
 
If WGP gets their slot machines and we loose Raytheon as a site, the future of the Wichita SCCA might need to include karting in Anthony and Time Trials at Hallett.

We probably missed a huge opportunity to work with the guys at the new Wild West adventure site to see about having events on their new parking lots. Not sure if it would have worked but we probably should have talked with them, or did somebody? Or could somebody?
