Yes, but what about the double-spotted tootsie fly habitat that would be
destroyed? Not to mention, spoiling the view?

This is a company who's CEO I was able to hear in person talk about
energy. There are several tests being conducted as we speak, and also
some utilities are having them build test beds. The thing that caught my
ear in his speech is that with a solar farm just 100x100 miles out in
the Southwest desert, it would supply 100% of our energy in the US. Of
course we would still have other sources for the nights, etc but most of
our peak demand is in the day. Also he said if we covered just 2% of the
worlds deserts, they could supply 100% of the worlds energy. Then I
could run my electic car without feeling guilty.
